While earning his Master's of Theology degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, Justin wrote his thesis on controversial healing evangelist Benny Hinn. Entitled An examination and Critique of the Life, Ministry and Theology of Healing Evangelist Benny Hinn, Justin's 81 page thesis exposes the famed faith healer's lies, deception, and aberrant Word of Faith theology with first hand experiences at his so-called "miracle crusades" and sound biblical analysis.

Though serving as Staff Evangelist at First Baptist Church, Vicksburg, MS, Justin does not receive a salary from the church and so relies solely on love offerings and private donations. Justin Peters Ministries is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and, as such, all donations are tax deductible.
